The Matthew Setting Sail

It’s the middle of March already! Time flies when you are busy. Today is the day that I’ve mentioned a couple of times over the months – this new website is official. I will be doing most of my blogging from here, adding new photos to the albums, adding links, and writing about my work and sometimes referencing the work of other textile / fibre artists. I will be linking back and forth to my old blog,  started in 2009, so you will still be able to search out content there.

This winter, I have participated in a few zoom courses / lectures, sponsored by the Mahone Bay Quilt Guild. It was a great way to keep in touch with members as well as try out new projects and meet new teachers. In fact, if you have a look at the guild’s latest post, you will know what is currently on my design board. More on that later.

Last night, the final part of my Garden Sewing Box on-line workshop, was posted to the Embroiderers’ Association of Canada’s web site. Click on the link and it will take you back to a previous post about the course. Check HERE too.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to those who celebrate on the 17th!

This four leaf clover was picked in the summer of 2016 by my granddaughter.

Gale’s Four Leaf Clover

Stay safe everyone, wash hands, wear a mask and social distance. We all want to get back to ‘normal’ living.
